The Zeta Omega Sigma Chapter was chartered on March 6, 1988 by Cultured Pearl Sandre E. Mitchell, the charter Basileus (President). The other charter members were:
It was their mission to serve the community of Baltimore County and to implement numerous service programs that would assist with the quality of life among its residents.
For 30+ years, leading with class and serving with excellence has been a staple among Zeta Omega Sigma chapter members. We will forever continue serve our community through “Greater Service, Greater Progress."
As leaders within Baltimore County, Zeta Omega Sigma sorors have been elected to local, regional, and international leadership roles. Outside of the sorority, sorors also serve in civic, social, and religious positions within their community. In conjunction sorority’s national programs, the Zeta Omega Sigma chapter is active in the Baltimore County area with providing services such as toy drives, clothing and blanket collection, voter registration, school supply collections, mentoring programs, and monetary support.
